Whilst eating a bowl of my favourite cereal from Dorset Cereals I was looking at the packaging and thinking I am sure I could design a card from this packaging and voila!!

The end of my craft rainbow
On Monday night after a heavy bout of rain, the sun came out and then we spotted this beautiful rainbow. It was stunning and the colours were very bright. The photo does not do it justice of course, but what is at the end of your rainbow. At the end of my rainbow what I would like most of all is a cure for my son's Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy - not much to ask!!

Wedding Card and Box with the tutorial of Ruth Hamilton
Really enjoyed making this card commissioned for a friend. Ruth kindly put up a tutorial but I had made a few cards from scratch without her help, but with help was better. I did the design from scratch using ribbons/flowers/glitter/lace/papers etc. Hope you like - see what you think

My little sister is 50 - Congratulations
My little sister is 50 tomorrow and I have made her a very special card. The story behind this is that when we were little girls our gran always made matching dresses. There are two that spring to mind, the first matching dresses we had were crochet in orange which incidentally is very much back in fashion at the moment as we came across them in Monsoon recently. We had a silly moment and could not resist trying them on for a laugh - we did not look much better in them now! The second dresses were turquoise with daisies all over them - what a picture. I very quickly got an idea for her birthday card and I think she will love it. It includes a picture of the two of us, I have crochet embellishments handmade in the colours of both the dresses in orange, turquoise and white and I really enjoyed making it. See what you think.
Up cycling on my holidays - retro style
Just been on holiday for two weeks but could not quite manage a break from my crafting. I have been saving the colourful parcel string that comes every week from my fab organic fruit and veg box from Abel and Cole. I took it with me on holiday and voila I made a retro tea cosy by adding some wool and a little imagination and crochet skills I gained from my gran many years ago. See what you think.

Time for a 2day Summer Workshop Revamp -My Blue Heaven
My hubby John has just managed to revamp the outside of my workshop Ellas Retreat it is now a real feature in the garden. He worked very hard, it was like painting the Forth Bridge in a 2 day good weather window that we may have to call SUMMER! I made an effort to jazz up the inside as well with some bunting using up some of my stash Hope you like the results.

Retro crochet tea cosy request
My sister Sue who owns a holiday cottage in Ironbridge Shropshire asked me if I could make a retro tea cosy for her. I undertook this task and came up with this but swapped the pom pom finish for the top with some pretty crochet flowers. Now all her work colleagues want one!!

Box Card 2
This is another box card for a friend to send to her husband for Valentine Day. I have used a new machine I have bought called a Silhouette Portrait cutting machine which does some fabulous things. I am just practicing with it at present so watch this space for more. Hope you like the card I have made and thanks for looking.
Box card courtesy of Ruth Hamilton inspiration
This card was made for a friend Olina who owns a sewing shop in my local town. She has a box of my cards in her shop. The cards are a little difficult to make and have a lot of components but I have really enjoyed the challenge.
